Why Plan Your Meals with MealMixer
|
MealMixer members believe that meals are to be planned and prepared with care to
achieve enjoyable taste and sound nutrition--they are gifts given to themselves,
their family, and occasionally their friends. They understand the value of a weekly
menu and organized grocery lists, and prefer them to searching the pasta aisle for
deals and hoping to remember what vegetable to serve with their selected pre-packaged
spaghetti. They understand that planning is the key to a delicious enjoyable meal
and a healthy life--and we do too.
MealMixer helps its members by providing highly-customizable online meal and diet
planning tools combined with a database of well-tested recipes and meals (free of
advertiser influence), as well as meal planning and dieting articles that together
|
help them achieve the healthy enriched lifestyle they seek. Some are dieters needing
to lose weight, others have a loved one with food allergies or a medical condition
like diabetes, celiac disease, or autism, while others are looking for optimum health
through diet and exercise, or are working with professions through MealMixer to
achieve a medical/health result. For all of these subscribers, our planners make
it easy to get the right meals on the table for who and where they are in life.
Our company name (More Thyme) comes from three related concepts: (1) getting a better
variety of more flavorful food on the table ("thyme"), being healthy for a longer
life ("time") and being more efficiency with our "time" through planning.

Of course, I could switch to spring roll wrappers, which are made of rice, but that would only solve one of the problems, right? (more...)
GFCF Lunch Menu - 1School has not started here, but I know it has in many other parts of the country. This week I’m posting non-sandwich lunch ideas. Eating school provided lunch is NOT an idea, even if the offering du jour is GFCF diet appropriate. Have you seen that stuff? I’ll spare you my rant. Since many schools are enforcing a no peanut or tree-nut rule, I’ll keep them out of my plans this week as well. (more...)
Breakfast with Food Allergies 4We’re about to have another one of those scary conversations, you and I. You’re going to have to trust me. You’re going to have to be open.. Today I’m eating cornmeal for breakfast. Breathe…wait… This stuff is also called cornmeal mush, grits, polenta, mamaliga, and who knows what else. See? All the other kids are eating it. (more...)
